Need faster internet speeds to catch up with the shift to digital. My max speed is 1.3mb download. This is in Devon UK. When will we catch up with the rest of the world? tongue.gif

Yeah I'm in the same boat, Approx 1.3 mb/s in Barnsley, UK. For the most part I'm happy with my "slow" speed I can download 1gb in approx 45 mins give or take, my Lat is always low in games so that's a plus.

Personally I think EA should focus more on the 'other' glaring issues with their company instead of "EA Download manager V.4"

is that mega bits or megabytes ? that’s terrible. a friend of mine in England is getting near 80meg down 20up in a remote village with no bus, street lights or shops. Its fibre to the cabinet and costs about $35 a month. Mind you apparently Barnsley is quite backwards anyway.

We could all move to Romania?

Just putting that out there....

That's how bad the copper network has gotten in Australia)

Once you've uploaded videos and photos on 1Mbit/s, you know how slow ADSL actually is.

I didn't mean that it's slow. I meant that it's slow in comparison to the gigabit connections for dirt cheap that some countries have.

It stinks that some people still can't rely on their ISP enough for digital games. I haven't had a physical game disk for almost 10 years now.

What part? I'm in Alabama at 60 and it's not the fastest.
