I feel your pain. My parents' house can only get dail-up or Verizon hot spot with caps. It sucks every time I go back to the country side of Alabama when I have to use internet there.

Especially with the ridiculous low cap, I always break it in a few hours when I am visiting back home, but the deal I have with my parents is I pay the extra dollars it cost.

With more and more isp's now enforcing data caps, no, disks can't die.

My isp has started to enforce a data cap on my 30mbps connection. The only other isp in my area and pretty much the entire state has even a worse data cap and service.

Disk media can't die.

I dont care if the packaging of disc becomes very cheap and are only sold from EA but disc games need to stay. ISP Data caps hurt alot of people

Disregarding his particular case, are there really data caps on US internet plans? Such a thing is unheard of around here and hopefully will remain as such.

A lot of ISPs have data caps, but they are typically ridiculously high, and the average user won't exceed them or do it often enough for the ISP to act.
