Have a vg248qe, thinking about switching to pb278q?

I am not quite happy with my current monitor due to washed out color. Thinking about going ips/pls. What do you guys think or recommend? My other option is the pa248q due to non widely used resolution of the pb278q, it might ruin the clarity of 1080p videos.

The PA248Q has a very grainy matte coating which makes whites sparkle and text grainy...It ain't pretty.

The Viewsonic VP2770 / BenQ BL2710PT / Eizo EV2736W are better monitors than the PB278Q and 1080p scaled should still look fine on 1440p.

What about the upcoming PG278Q instead of the PB278Q?

You would get 120Hz with better colors than the older TN panels, and the smooth motion of GSYNC, and the better-than-LigthBoost capability of ULMB.

won't it gonna be just my vg248qe but with 1440p and gsync? i think i will be happy with just 60pfs but i want something with rich colors,

i've been gaming on my hdtv before i switched to my current monitor, my hdtv produces better colors than my monitor,
