I am new to Speedfan and wondered if these numbers are normal?

My laptop (Dell Inspiron 5520) felt burning hot to the touch, so I downloaded Speedfan and these are the numbers. I think they seem high, but I don't know much about computer hardware issues. Could you please help me and let me know if they are as high as they seem and what I should do?

HD0: 53C (min:53 max:54)
Core 0: 105C (min:96 max:105)
Core 1: 104C (min:99 max:105)

Thank you for your help.

Ben

Those are pretty high temps. What were you using while measuring temps ?? I would do an RMA, if you still have the warranty. How many years have you had that ??

I am using SpeedFan 4.49

I've had the computer about a year. It went out of warranty in January....

To the best of my knowledge, yes. I just used the dell tool to make sure they were the latest and I also went through each one and clicked on the "check for updates" button.

Speedfan doesn't always measure the temps correctly. I would try other programs before you jump to conclusions.

I had to set a -15C offset because Speedfan was measuring 15C too high. It happens.
