Tubing Question - Masterkleer vs. Primochill PrimoFlex Pro

Thread Starter
Hello,

Basically, I'm looking for some red tubing to replace the horrid orange tubing that XSPC calls 'red/uv orange', suggesting that without UV light it is red, which it is not. I've heard leaching horror stories from users of both these types of tubing, but at the moment the Primoflex is on offer at £4 a metre rather than £6 a metre, and the masterkleer stuff is £3 per metre anyway. There shouldn't be any tight turns, but which one is the deepest red and which one is the least likely to leach.

I've got a spare bottle of EK red fluid I might use, but with the red tubing I might just do Distilled + PT/KillCoil and an LED in the res.

Regards
Luke

Don't be cheap, go with primochill ADVANCED lrt

Not even sure how you found PrimoFlex Pro LRT, I had thought they stopped making it when they revised to adv lrt.

You'll have a couple months before leaching starts at max with those tubings, you'll have a year or two with advanced LRT.

Have you ever tried cleaning plasticizers out of a loop? They're a bloody nightmare, little off white crap everywhere. Getting that out of a pinboard style water block? Took my 15 mins just for the waterblock. Ugh, just don't go there mate, trust me.

Do your loop justice and go with Advanced LRT.
