Thread Starter
Got mine too, so happy!

The back feels so much better than the Galaxy S4.

And the new AMOLED display is amazing. It is seriously much much brighter than the Galaxy S4 or Galaxy Note 3's displays. I tested it out in sunlight and honestly I think it's even better than most LCD displays in direct sunlight.

They seriously focused on improving the display technology this time.

And the camera looks much better than the Galaxy S4, and a solid improvement over the Galaxy Note 3 as well. It can shoot 4K video too, which is amazing for a phone this size IMO.

The new UI seems a lot cleaner than previous TW iterations.

I tested out the heart rate sensor and it's accurate. About the same as I would get if I manually calculated my heart rate. I wouldn't say it's too useful though... unless you're really bored tongue.gif.

But as for the phone itself, I'm in love with it.

Gonna grab one, but I'm going to wait until the fall when it's like $1 with a new contract. How "responsive" does the S5 feel? One thing that bothered me about my S4 is that it occasionally felt less snappy than an iphone 5s. Thoughts?

Funny you mentioned that cause I felt that on my 5S as well. With a lot of apps open for both the S5 and the 5S, both phones get a bit laggy.

Strange I haven't notice my 5S get laggy at all even when almost everything is open (including intentive games like IBIII and RR3).

There is an occasional stutter on 7.0.6 but not on 7.1

I've heard people say it's not quite as snappy as the One M8, primarily because of TouchWiz.
If you plan on rooting it then it's irrelevant, but otherwise something to think about. I'm going to try and play with both in BB before I make my decision.

Haven't tested 7.1 yet. Anyways, I can't get used to the small screen anymore. If the iPhone 6 comes with at least a 5 inch screen & qi charging, I would consider switching back to apple. smile.gif
