Windows Update KB2925418 receives error code 800F0922, Please help!

Hi,

I have been trying to install the Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 11 for Windows 8.1 for x64 based Systems (KB2925418) and keep receiving error code 800F0922. The update downloads and installs, but upon reboot I get a message that says "Failure configuring Windows updates - undoing changes. Do not shut off your computer."

I have tried doing a clean boot, I have tried clearing the software distribution downloads folder, and I have tried manually installing, none of which will work. After Googling error code 800F0922, I found that it is usually caused by having secure boot enabled in the bios. Although I have not linked that error code to this particular update anywhere that is the best I could find. The problem is with my motherboard, the Asus P8P67 Pro, there is no option to enable or disable secure boot. At least not that I can find.

Can anyone help me resolve this Windows Update issue I am having? It's driving me crazy.

I had that motherboard and I am sure it did have the option. But I also could be wrong, since I've had a LOT of motherboards in the past. I suggest that you update your BIOS to the latest version and then look for the secure boot option.
Here is some more information which "might" help you.

If you do have the latest BIOS installed, check your motherboard manual for information on secure boot. The option might be hidden under another key. (Just like boot select is F12 and RAID BIOS is CTRL + I if you know what I mean).

Also, please verify you are using IE11, since the update is for that version of IE. If your not using IE at all, just disable IE within the windows features section, and ignore the update. As you can see, I just disabled it since I use Chrome:
