Literally the minute I close the task manager it goes to 100% and everything lags but when I open it and keep it open it stays around 5-20% *** is happening!!

Im pretty sure it hides itself when task manager is open, just googled it

Definitely some malware to be found there... I'd suggest WDO to hunt it down.



It scans pre-boot (you burn a CD or flash drive) and you boot from it. It'll hunt down the fiend.

scans the whole PC in under 15 minutes and has a 30 day free trial.

if you haven't used it before the trial will do the job.
if it is expired you will have to save the locations and clean it in safe mode, as long as it isn't a rootkit you should be able to do the cleanup easily

the malware was preventing most antimalware solutions too open. in case this happens you need rename hitman to explorer.exe
