I'd like to see something like a "Hydro Copper like" design like one of my 580s is. Just a water block setup in the factory so that the card looks like it was made to have it on there. Are there any AMD cards that come like that? I don't know if it would work to just splice the hoses into a loop either...it would have its little tiny pump in there yet. So you'd need the ability to remove that too.
Truth be told this pre-installed water block isn't the best water block in the world...but damn it looks sexy. I am still hoping to find a lone water block for the other 580 if I don't upgrade to a new GPU soon...and I might consider a 295X2 if it ends up being real. $1200 price tag might sound horrible, but if it lasts you five years or so...that is actually a good deal. Though I am kind of thinking I'll ride these 580s til a good DX12 GPU is out. They are equal to about a 770 or so. That's the only thing that sucks about this these new big GPUs...they are expensive and in three years could be obsolete. Obsolete meaning not compatible with any DX12 eye candy...I am sure they will still be running 90fps+ at 1440p maxed out in three years. I am guessing we are about three years out from seeing any true DX12 usage.Edited by Vagrant Storm - 4/1/14 at 12:00pm
