Which mATX case should I choose?

Thread Starter
I have been having a hard time on choosing the two options. On cooling and aesthetics, I really do not know which one looks better.

Option A: Corsair 350D Windowed - This would be paired with an i5-4670K and Corsair H100i.

Option B: Fractal Design Define Mini - Because this only fits 120mm fans, I would have to step down to a Corsair H75. Futhermore, because this case+corsair h75 will save me some money, this allows me to buy an i7-4770K instead.

So what is better? Or do you recommend other mATX cases?

350D biggrin.gif, and just get the h75, theres no need for the h100i on a 4670k unless you plan to hit 4,5Ghz or more

First of all what is the purpose of this build?Gaming?Video applications? If you're building for gaming, the i5-4670 is best bang for your buck, because there are not a lot of games that use more than 4 cores,if more than 2 cores at all..If you're into video editing/rendering and core-heavy applications then the i7-4770 is for you..I personally,am a Corsair fan and since I own the 350D I'd say go with that;you won't regret it..
The case has a lot of capabilities for custom water cooling and very good air cooling too..Now then, are you planning to overclock your CPU?
If so,then you'll need a top AIO water cooler like the Cprsair H100i,otherwise theres no problem using a decent air cooler..Just for reference though,I'm using the H75 in my own system on a non K Haswell(i5-4670) and my idle temps are 26-30c on all cores, and when the turbo boost is on @3.8GHz in ''heavy''gaming my temps are 47-50c on all cores, just to give you an idea..My setup is the H75 with 2 Corsair SP quiet edition fans push/pull controlled by a fan controller at the lowest rpm possible..So,as you see if you're not going to overclock you might want to save money and go with the opposite of what I did and land the same temps with a cheaper aircooler..Won't look as good though biggrin.gif
Hope that helps..

Corsair 350d or Fractal Arc mini r2.

If on a small budget the Coolermaster n200.
