[EA] Battlefield 4 Naval Strike is now available on PC - Page 3

Only tried it for a few rounds yesterday but it seems like I am getting some kind of minifreeze/framedrops since the update.

I mean it´s not like the usual framedrops when the FPS just drops to ~20 for a second or two and then gets back up again. It´s more like a minifreeze where the game would freeze for 2 seconds completely, then works again but laggy for another 3 seconds and then it works normal again.

Not completely sure what´s causing it though.

I had this yesterday. Froze for about 1-2 seconds then resumed but ran at like 8 FPS, this for a good 5 seconds or so. After that it was fine though. Maybe just a hiccup? I haven't had this since.

I havn´t really had the time to figure it out.
Could be a reboot fixed it, could be it is only on the new maps.

It really needs to be weekend again, so I can...erm...look for some bugs in Naval Strike which of course needs some more playtime. wink.gif

I've been putting off getting BF4 Premium because I got BF3 Premium on sale from Amazon for, like, $15 or 20 (I forget) so I was hoping to catch BF4 Premium for a similar kind of deal, but that hasn't happened yet. Then again it had probably been longer between BF3's release and the time Premium went on sale, than the time that has elapsed between BF4's release and now, so I'm probably hoping for nothing.
Think it's time I sucked it up and blew the $50 on BF4 Premium?

Please dont. If you look around there should be some decent discounts. Give me a few minutes.

edit: i've used this site before: $39.99 w/ Coupon

Buffing AC-130 gunship was the dumbest thing DICE have intentionally done in a long time, especially considering most Naval Strike maps have almost no cover from the sky. It flies way above flight ceiling out of range of most anti-air methods, also seems to have an instant respawn.

Then we have the SR338....which, as it's stats predicted, is the most poorly thought-out gun in the game. Not sure what DICE was thinking giving it those stats.
