damaged corsair panel form corsair store

Thread Starter
Hi all,

I recently bought a replacement corsair front panel for my 350d because my original one had a few nicks from use over the past few months,

the new one i received is blatantly scratched and has what appears to be dark " sharpie " marks covering " the scratches on the side of the panel, both scratches and sharpie marks are blatantly obvious and unsightly.

considering this is a new product I just took out of the box,

how should i go about handling this and making sure others aren't getting the same poor treatment from corsair computer parts?

any input would be appreciated.

I would just contact Corsair support.

I'm sure @CorsairGeorge will be able to help you out too. smile.gif

now that i've looked at my old front cover as well I see that IT ALSO has sharpie marks covering up scratches from the factory / manufacturing

how is this acceptable by corsairs qc to let these things go out as NEW products???

Complaining here won't get you anywhere, you need to file a RMA.

Just call Corsair or message CorsairGeorge here on OCN and they will usually just replace the entire panel for free.

I remember seeing a thread here on OCN where a guy bought a case for Corsair; had the entire acrylic window panel scratched due to poor QC, and CorsairGeorge chimed into the thread and ended up shipping him a new case.

Not sure if you'll have the luck of that guy, but usually if you call and complain theyll make things right. Message @CorsairGeorge and he'll reply back to you in a timely manner. You can also try posting in the corsair forums to see what they can do to help your RMA.

The best thing to do is file for RMA at this point.

I am trying to bring attention to the poor qc from one of the leading companies in the market, not aimless complaining.

thanks for your input though. do you think its fair for customers to recieve new products in this condition? or do you have nothing to do but complain yourself biggrin.gif

Any company in the world can have a bad part. The replacement part also being touched up is unacceptable as well. Personally I've requested our QC team do an audit of spare parts and we'll evaluate how and why this is happening.

It is not acceptable that you got this part in this condition, and it's especially not acceptable that the replacement part was in the same condition.

Thanks for your reply George,

I've never had another issue with corsair parts and that's the reason why i use their products exclusively in my builds personally and for customers of mine, from cases , to power supplies to AIO cooling solutions you guys are known for quality and reliability, that's why this was so shocking to me.

I reached out to corsair support for an rma and am awaiting a response.
