EVGA 770 Dual Bios at NCIX US

Does anyone know if this comes with the back plate? I just went by Fry's and their boxes have back plates inside but they refused to price match to NCIX.

Right now they have the 2774 model and the 2776 model (dual bios) for the same price at NCIX US so I figured why not go with the dual bios, but would be cool if they also had the back plate.

Guess it doesn't matter, but found a coupon code that knocked 10 bucks off.

If anyone is interested.

I have never had an issue price matching at frys (except for microcenter cpu but see below) if the model number is the same. Backplates on evga cards are mostly cosmetic but supposedly help cool the board. Asus actually uses theirs to support it since they dont have a bracket running along the pcb like some evga or msi cards, etc. The dual bios is nice too but also not worth it if there is a price difference, in your case why not get it, i would get the backplate over dual bios though.

Keep in mind some of the evga boxes say they offer a backplate or something like that but you gotta get it mailed by evga. If its an old box I dont think the promo is current, but a OCN member here got them to honor it since it was printed on the box without a visible expiration date.

A tip for frys though, if your ok eating the cost, buy it then get the refund at customer service later on mentioning it was cheaper online. The department managers can be a pain sometimes but the customer service desk are not as picky as long as its the same model number.

NCIX us has will call if your local...just make sure its in stock at their CA location thumb.gif sometimes it says instock but its another state.

Well I was reading a post and you commented that US california people pay sales tax for everyone that isnt tiger direct. I tried to get the dual bios of TD but they didnt even show it as an option. NCIX anyways, the Linus guy cracks me up.

I got staples to price match a 4670k for a buddy of mine.

As for the back plate you can actually see it in the box attached to the card.

Good tip on the Fry's match. I have two within 15 miles of me. I like using them for obvious reasons, test out what I like return it if I don't. I got better clocking out of the EVGA 770 then I did the MSI without over volting. Yea yea, shame on me for using frys as a parts tester.
