[ArsTech] Apple lawyer to jury: Samsung “crossed into the dark side” - Page 10

Eh, almost every game I have is an EA game! tongue.gif
post #92 of 101
Only EA games I own are BF4(R9 promo), NFS Shift(decent sim), Burnout Paradise(one of the best driving games), and NFS HP2. My dad bought me the HP2 in 04'. He gave away the copy, now I'm getting another copy from eBay. Good times.

So about Apple stuff. They are decently packaged product that usually look and feel amazing at a much higher price tag. They are more and more competetive recently. Last week my friend wanted a 13" Mac or something similar at $1000, can'tfind a better replacement. The Samsungs and ASUS are the only ones in stock that has comparable size and weight, but only the Mac has the Has well and Iris Pro. At an ultra book size iris pro is pretty much the best you can get. The low power GPUs usually perform worse than Iris pro, but hopefully Maxwell stir things up.

With all do respect , your post is without originality
A lot of people think that Apple reinvented the wheel . What they did , was just to take others ideas and patent them . Being in there own backyard was not to hard .
With all due respect. I have seen the way the Korean company operates firsthand. You think Apple lacks originality? You ain't seen nothing.

Just because I stated Samsung is in fact a company that copies others' designs. I did not state that Apple innovated in everything they created.

Both companies do it. Most companies do it. If you don't believe me, I suggest you look up how Samsung Electronics got started.

Crysis and BF are my favorite franchises. I actually really like MOH too (I'm probably the only one)...

On topic, the whole lawsuit thing is pointless anyway. These mammoth companies generally have insurance against being forced to pay out when they lose a suite so it won't really do much to Samsung anyway. And even if they had to pay up from their own pockets Samsung as a company can afford to. The only thing that will come from this is that at some point those two are going to be forced to license patents from each other which will end up making the products more expensive for us.

Personally I don't care who copies who's designs, I only care that I can get a phone that I like using weather it's made by Apple, LG, Samsung, HTC or any other company. I went with Samsung this time because in South Africa they offer 2 years of free accidental damage cover on their S4, Note 3 and I assume the S5 will be the same. So if I break the screen they will fix it twice for free in 2 years or do two water damages or one of each. That's great because here those types of repairs are ridiculously expensive.

Silly me, thinking Sony - thumb.gif

This should end like US Government saying "Ok since you can not play nice, we're removing any telephone related patents, we are making a law that no one can patent anything related to any type of telephones. ***** you two."

Your right it should, but it wont, all these companies pay ex politicians to argue their side of the battle to their ex cronies. The only ones who lose is us, the end user / cash cow.

Coincidence, posted the above and then read the national news:

"After the inquiry resumed this afternoon, former Liberal MP-turned-lobbyist Michael Photios said the company the ICAC is investigating - Australian Water Holdings (AWH) - paid him $5,000 per month to lobby the NSW Government and there was nothing wrong with that."

Bastards, when your in government you do nothing, then get out with a lifetime pension and tell serving MP's what they should do...Bastards
