R9 290 Tri-X vs. PCS+?

I am planning to duplicate the triple display setup using Asus VG248QE (http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1751610). I am primarily using this to game and multi-task. I've been looking at R9 290 Tri-X due to high reviews but lately, I've been seeing good feedback on PCS+. Am I splitting hair at this point in terms of performance/reliability differences? I've never heard about PowerColor, which is another reason why this decision is difficult. I always had NVIDIA cards and worried about support but it doesn't seem like the case. Also, NVIDIA's g-sync, lightboost, etc. do seem to be compatible with AMD cards. Just looking for some feedback in general. Thanks.

There's no question about it. But, since PCS+ is very attractive in terms of price compared to tri-x, I was wondering about the performance and quality of the card.

Bunch of OCN members have PCS+ and most of them are very happy with it (me included).

You will find some info about it here http://www.overclock.net/t/1462592/powercolor-pcs-r9-290/450#post_22046507

Got the Tri-X today. Patience paid off (crossing fingers...hopefully, no DOA).
