Possibly the power supply. Have you switched the psu off for a couple of seconds and then back on again before trying to fire it back up? I have to do this at times when there's a power surge in my area and the power goes out suddenly. I know, I need a UPS. lol rolleyes.gif

Have you tried disconnecting the PSU for a few minutes?
Try that a few times, might work.
If that doesn't work, try a "donor" PSU, either a spare one or borrow one from a friend.
If it still won't work, I'd guess it's your mobo or CPU..

Well.. I have a UPS already..... An the motherboard led turns green alright.. so doesnt that mean that the PSU is alright?

Well, not really, it may supply enough "juice" to light up the led, but it might not be enough to power the rig.
so try to disconnect the mains to the PSU for 5 minutes, then try again. If that won't work, try replacing it with a donor.
