Best monitor within $600 prince range?

Hello

I am having some trouble deciding which monitor to get, I haven't purchased a screen for around 5 years, it seems now days there are many many more variables to consider and to be honest I do not know how to compare them.(TN panels, IPS, 4k, LED, etc etc)

I have been considering Dell u2913wm or Asus PB298Q as I really want to have the height adjustment option.
I am also wondering whether the Dell U2913WM is compatible with the Dell Mount Arm MSA14, I cant seem to get any clarification on the official pages.

I am not so sure which is best out of these two.

I have noticed also that these extra wide monitors don't seem to have a greater ratio than 2560 x 1080, or perhaps I have got this wrong?

I have 2 x Nvidia 780GTX classified, will these be able to support any of the current monitors I have spoke about?

What monitor would you recommend?(doesn't have to be extra wide)

Thanks in advance.

Never mind guys, I am going to get a simple Dell P2414H.
I cant come to any solid conclusion with the colossal range of choice, you start to edge with one monitor somewhere, then find reviews slamming it, then you find another monitor, then reviews to slam that, its practically impossible to come to any good conclusion without driving yourself mad.
