Klipsch S4A vs S4A II

Thread Starter
Hi,

My skullcandy headset died on me and I really liked the Klipsch S4As. Reviews are mixed, the S4A II's seem to have a lot of noise when the cable moved or w/e and noise at low volumes plus misc issues with the mobile app. The S4A (old) has mostly positive reviews and both are around the same right now on Amazon, around $40.

Could anyone with experience with these recommend either of them?

And any other good headset (with mic) recommendations around $40.

Thanks.

I have heard that the I has issues with some high frequencies, crackling and not producing clean sound. This is a small problem though. I have the II's and have no problems. I really enjoy them, however the cable noise can be annoying. Not good exercise earphones.
