PCI 2.0 issue with Asrock Z77 Extreme4 MOBO (any help is appreciated!)

So I just bought this motherboard to temporarily replace my asus z68 that is under RMA. Anyways, this asrock z77 board doesnt recognize my asus xonar dg sound card and my tp link wireless ethernet card. When I power up the PC, the ethernet cards' lights don't flash or turn on. And in the device manager, there are two missing drivers for audio controller and network controller. However, in the bios, the board summary shows that there is an audio device and ethernet controller on the PCI 2.0 slots.. I've tried installing the drivers for each card but during the setup, it says no device is detected. Is this a broken board? BTW, yes my PCIE 3.0 slot works, graphics card runs just fine.

I'm not sure. I think I did. I installed the drivers that came on the drivers CD. If I can remember correctly I think I did install Intel ME. Is that what's causing the problem?

its prob installed.

if you use one device at a time does it work? Do you have anything in a PCI slot? Did you try updating the BIOS?

Did you try installing the drivers for the devices?

Yeah I tried one slot at a time, the slots PCI slots still dont work. I have tried downloading and installing the drivers but during the setup it says it does not detect my hardware. And I have updated the BIOS, problem still persists. Im starting to think the PCI slots are just broken now.
