Has MS posted official ISO for everyone else? I want to do a clean install not through Windows update.

Interesting review! So that start menu in that screenshot that's going around is definitely not something for Windows 9 or so, instead it's described as something for the "near-future" which I'd take as something coming to 8.1 within a few months.

The article also maybe explains why this update is 800MB (or whatever it is exactly). It mentions this particular update's file contains all previously released normal updates and security updates for 8.1.

The most useful one I've read, thanks TFL!

I have 15 Windows 8 keys... but no image!

So, there is no "official" way to get an image via MS without having MSDN or Technet subscriptions?

I could have sworn I started downloading it last week before cancelling the download :s

This has the update now? I downloaded from that link 1 week ago and it wasn't included.

If I have a Windows 8 key, can I perform a clean install with a Windows 8.1 .iso (assuming I can find one....)?
