Out of them all the 8320 is the best price/performance, for BF4 it's probably the best price performance CPU out there.

There's also the FX 6300 to consider.

Personally I'd recommend going no lower than the R9 270, it's a big difference from the R7 265 when overclocked and can be had at $180.

Also you could consider skimping on the mobo , getting a 4570/4670 no k at stock, should be fine for a mid end GPU like the 270/270X

well i would be better off with the 8320 which can be overclocked compared to a non K 4670.

Im definitely now consider going the AMD since I have been seeing reviews that the CPU is good on most of the FPS games I play, especially BF4.

thanks for the info though. I really wanted a 4670k cause it really does better on most applications and games, even single threaded ones. but i guess the 8320 isnt bad for the price either

even if its pushing your budget, just look at the case as an investment. for my case i wont be changing for at least 10 years. as long its well built and serve future needs no point buying something budget worthy unless you really need to.

Yeah, I have had the same case since the first week of March of 2008. To be honest, I feel that I made a good choice. It cost me about $80 and it's still standing. :) Granted, I would definitely have fun with a brand new fancy case, but I definitely don't need it. My case was a pretty decent investment!

this is one of my list in pcpartpicker

its similar to one of the ones i was shown earlier. i think it seems pretty good for the price. I can surely add a hyper evo 212 later on in a few months

but i really want an intel cpu lol

im just not sure if i should go with a non k 4670. I would feel like im not getting my moneys worth.

and if i do get one, i would get a b85 board like the asrock b85 killer or something cheaper

Honestly. the build you got there will be perfect. Don't get yourself a non k 4670, you WILL regret it. You may not like AMD, but you cant argue with what your gettnig for the money. You should be able to take that FX chip to like 4.7GHz on that board (I personally wouldnt go higher because its a lower end FX board, but I could be wrong, I'm an intel guy).

mmm ok.

What about its resale value of its motherboard and AMD cpu/?

you think i could resale it in a couple of months and then switch out for an intel? like broadwell?

yea could do that, but you will have to sell it for less since its used, make sure you take a picture of all your receipts, then just send the picture of the receipt to the person you sold it to after payment.

So, i have already purchased some components...300r case, WD caviar blue, lg dvd drive, but ill be holding off on the cpu and mobi since i want to sre what the z97 boards offer. So right now im looking into some power supplies.

Now i was given suggestions on some recently but prices have changed, and i currently have a 20 dollar promo card from newegg, so purchasing from them is the option right now

Now, i was looking at corsairs cx600m....i wont be doing sli or crossfire anymore, im going with a single card forever lol.

So with that in mind, i will probobly go with a 270x and then down the road, upgrade to a R9 290

So more PSU suggestions from u guys would b appreciated
