D.

That's what I was thinking about last night - my Heatmaster doesn't allow control based on a dT between two sensors.

I was really taxing my high school electronics knowledge from 13 years ago. I came to the conclusion that it really isn't worth it - my current control system based solely on water temp works just fine for now. If I decide in the future it doesn't, well, that gives me an excuse to buy an Aquero.

Hey guys (and gurl)
I just want to thank you all.

Last nigh, we had a dinner party with a couole of friends.
I showed my buddy the rig I'm working on and the issue I have with my fan controller.
He asked "Aren't there anything out there that wouldn't have these problems?"

In reality, I could have just bought the Aquaero 6 and be done with it. True that!

Except the Aquasuite is not supported on Lunux.

But most inportantly, I love tinkering with this stuff, overcoming hurdles, and most especially learning.

So I learned, with you guy's help, that a resistor can be used to decrease resistance.

I also learned how my temp sensors work.

None of this would have been possible with the Aquaero, and without you guys.

And truth be told, the practicality of this mod is virtually nul.

With 15.120 rads in push/pull, I will likely never need to crank the fans above 800 rpm.

But I just love it all. Learning electronics, pots, caps, switches, terminology, sleeving, voltage tweaking, case modding, learning all about pump flow versus pressure.....

What a great hobby!
And all you guys make it all that much more fun!

Thank you all! biggrin.gif

I'm sorry John, but that's just the 'too easy' way out. biggrin.gif
