the best way to tell the difference is to make an archer-type hero in poe and a dh in d3. d3 feels like an isometric arpg made for wow players-basically they assume you have zero precision clicking skills, which is half the game for this type of game

Hitboxes have nothing to do with that. If you want to see what real autotargeting is run D2, make a fist of heavens paladin and go out and play. You click the skill and hit enemies without even having to target anything. Second easiest is the tab targetting system found in MMOs of the Everquest type- World of Warcraft included. You press "tab" ,select a target and all your spells that are in range will connect. In comparison Demon Hunter DIII abilities are almost skillshots, you have to target your rapid fire or bola shot etc. In D2 it was 10 times worse, check the unsummon lock trick pvp barbs with enigma used.

Nah people like to whine and hate on about everything and feel entitled to everything... time to grow up. Feel like im in an AMD vs intel thread where misinformed people come to talk about something they know nothing about.

I have to say I have owned pretty much every blizzard game(even though I was not a happy blizzard fan with the creation/running of a pay to play game), except WoW(never played Hearthstone). I have lost years to Warcraft 2, Starcraft, Warcraft 3(thank you battleships creator), and insane amounts of time on D2. There wasn't anything left for me to do in D2 when I was quit. SC2 came out and they didn't screw it up by basically upgrading the graphics and a few units...awesome. When D3 came out I was hopeful to start my addiction again, I had been clean for years of D2 but I wanted it back. Then D3 hit, and it was slow, but I made a ton in the auction house, so I kept at it. Made one of every character and got all of them through the game, then with profits from the auction house, I bought 3 of my friends the game and got them to 60 and through it. But the whole time if felt, empty, at some around the end of Sept Borderlands 2 was coming and I played it and never looked back at D3, and never missed.

So if you read that..RoS, my addiction has returned. Those old auction house funds got me to buy the game for those 3 friends who just grumbled "that game again?"(they were not D2 players). Now fast forward a week or two, I have punch in countless hours, one friend has gone from 60 to 70 to 56 paragon levels all on her own, another friend has gone from 60 to 70 to 18 paragon levels, and last guy has gone from 60 to 70 to 12 paragon levels.

They made this game what it should have been all along. I get the anger over vanilla's being horrible, but unless you try RoS, then you are reviewing vanilla and nothing more can be added to the topic. Just my thoughts, I could be wrong...probably am.

you should try hearthstone. ipad beta just went out if you have that device!

i played back in the beta and it was my first TCG that I played...it's actually quite fun for a casual game.[/quote]

welp, there's always the PC version, still a great game to play while browsing the web, etc. Little time commitment.

$40 for an expansion on top of a $60 game. Blizzard, damn your prices. I can't believe they still get away with this.

Last I heard of Diablo III the economy was in the crapper. Did they remove the marketplace due to this?

D3 is at $40 now, and my friend got the expansion as a combo for a total of $60.
