SeaSonic S12G 650W vs Antec TruePower Classic 650W

I need a PSU for a friend. I narrowed it down to these two. The Seasonic PSU is $90 while the Antec one is $100. I'm leaning towards the Antec one because I have used them in the past and they have been good to me.

My friends computer spec:
Reference R9 290
16GB Ram
840 Pro 256GB
4770K oc'd to 4.5Ghz
Mobo is Maximus VI Gene
some 1440P monitor

My vote goes to Seasonic. I've had better experiences with them (one of my Antec PSUs gave way after two or so years), the price is better, and I just like them better as a brand.

The Antec TruePower Classic IS a Seasonic S12G so both are the same PSU, Whatever of the two is cheapest, 650 watts is way more then what is needed a 550 watts is more then enough for that system

You sure a 550W is enough for a 4770K oc'd to 4.5Ghz (he might oc it more in the future) and a R9 290 which he will oc to as high as he can?

Unless you are going to overvolt the 290 you dont need that much wattage

Unless I'm missing something here but doesn't the 4770K @ 4.5Ghz consume 200W+ and the R9 290 consume 250W+? Isn't that cutting it with a 550W PSU?

Thats TDP that has nothing to do with real world power draws which are far lower then you think

You can run pretty much any PC with one video card on a 500 watts PSU
