Question on Noiseblocker NB-BLackSilentPro fan

Hello everyone!

It seems to me that Noiseblocker fans seem to fade into the background in comparison to other fans. Hence, I have not been able to find much discussion on this product:

I'm wondering whether I can hook this fan up to a 4pin header on my motherboard and control it with fan software.

I would also appreciate if anyone that has experience with this fan would describe the performance. I'm looking for the absolute quietest 140mm exhaust fan in black! tongue.gif

Thank you, I appreciate it.

Noiseblocker fans are actually as bad as you think, they did well in the SPCR tests. They are just a little expensive.

Yes you can control the fan with software it is a PWM fan. Are you using a tower heatsink?

What do you mean by as bad as I think? If they did well in SPCR tests doesn't that mean they're especially quiet and efficient? I don't mind spending a premium on a fan since I am looking for near silent performance. I'm water cooling the cpu and gpu with a 280mm + 360mm radiator. This 140mm fan will act as my exhaust smile.gif

Thanks bud!
