Thread Starter
What is your maximum budget? $1200

What country are you in? USA

What will be the uses of this laptop? Some Gaming and mostly programming

Do you have brand loyalty or care which brands we select for you? Nein

What screen size do you require? either 15~17

What screen resolution do you require? 1080 would be nice

Are you looking to buy NEW or would refurbished/recertified/used be okay? New would be good and depending on refurbished maybe.

How long should the battery last? (Under optimal conditions, no movies/games/heavy internet) doesnt matter roughly 8 would be good

What games would you like to play with your laptop? And on what settings? Diablo 3 on high? Dota 2 on high? Street Fighter 4 on High?

What operating system do you need? (if any) 7 or I guess i can join 8.1 ... and see how that is

Is there a certain style of laptop you want? (aluminum, black, gaming, etc.) sleekness would be nice

How much hard drive space do you need? if we can get ssd for running OS and a seperate hd about 750-1000 for storage and running stuff that would be good.

Do you need any special hardware? (blue ray, webcam, specialty ports, etc.) Blueray, 3.0 usb ports (if possible),

Is there anything else we need to know? Nein

I would go with the Sager NP7358 or Sager NP7378 same laptop but one is 15" and one is 17". They come with an 860m which so do you perfectly for the games you want to play, and you can customize it to your liking. I think after the upgrades you would add it should come to ~$1175 with 860m, i7-4810mq, blu-ray, and 1tb 7200rpm drive. Remember to add an operating system if you dont have one already, if you already have one you can save yourself ~$80. This is a popular laptop for performance per dollar.

Both are the same laptop and price the only difference is one is 15" and the other is 17", both 1080p.
