Are my Hard Drives bad?

My computer doesn't always recover when the screen turns off. I noticed more frequent issues with the screen doing that weird small tile crap, freezing the computer (I'll take a pic if I see it again). I'm also going to run a full scan of the drives using windows to see if that fixes my problems. I have a few questions, and I'm posting some images:

1. How do I scan all my disks more effectively in windows 8.1 than the windows tools? Is there a way I am missing, or should I use third party?
2. Using the windows hard drive scan tool, where do I look for the log file for my scans? I want to see the errors, if any, and what windows did.
3. Why me???

It doesn't SEEM to be the video card.

Here's some Speedfan and Event Viewer candy:

Event log sees the same issues on Harddisk4 through Harddisk9. Pretty sure I need to replace HD4, lol
EDIT: HD4 is my USB3.0 Seagate External

Event ID 11 is usually a controller error... not a drive error. Hard to believe all the drives are bad at once... so you have to look at any common connections (i.e. controller)

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/154690

Need more info....

how are the drives setup?

What ports on the mobo are they attached to?

How do you have power hooked up (on both ends?) Any adapters or splitters?

Are you using standard Sata III cables (unmodified)?

If you disconnect drives... only run boot, what happens? Boot + 1, what happens?

I will need to take her apart and post pictures. I do not remember. I was excited about the new case. Basic SATA cables. All are direct to the mainboard connections.
