This is always a difficult question for me to answer, because I hold my GPUs to the same standards as my CPU, while the majority of people here seem to be looking for 'gaming stable' and nothing more.

The best speeds I can make as close to perfectly stable as possible in the most stressful tests I can find are damn near stock clocks, when I disable throttling.

If gaming was all I cared about, Hawaii can usually manage 1050-1100 on the reference cooler. Higher clock may work, but won't provide full benefits in all titles as it's hard to avoid throttling. They do have a fair amount of potential under water, but still not quite that of NVIDIA's current parts.

You need a better card. My 290X Tri-X holds at it's highest speed of 1040 and never goes down except for low power usage.

Even in Titanfall and Rage?? cause those are the only 2 titles where my card isnt holding it's 1050 core clock.
