+1 for Planetside 2. There's a learning curve and a "level up to unlock stuff" element, but at heart it's a giant fantastic FPS. You can specialize and get good at 1 thing (fighters, medic, tactical/room clearing, tank driving, sniping, etc.) pretty quickly.

Are you looking for twitch or arcade style games, or are puzzle-like/problem-solving games OK as well?

I do not want to sound mean but it seems that gaming is the least of your worries when it comes to your PC. You spent thousands of dollars on a PC for gaming only to play 1 game. I mean, Skyrim is fun... guiltysmiley.gif

Maybe do what that first guy said. Maybe you can sell your PC and use that money for a laptop and a PS4. That way you will not tempted to keep upgrading your machine since you won't have one to upgrade. And the PS4 is a fun system too. If you are looking to play a few games here and there, then a $400 gaming console is all you need instead of a $2,000 PC or however much it cost.

Like I said already, I have a 15" 2012 MacBook Pro with a 3615QM 2.3ghz, 8GB of RAM and SSD, as well as a 2010 11" MacBook Air. I think I have the laptop area covered. I want to play games. I used to get a lot more enjoyment out of it, and I think even with my current "issues", I could find games that'll give me enjoyment.

As for the others, I appreciate the recommendations and will be checking them out.

Maybe try out Planetside 2 or Loadout (free to play on steam) or Risk of Rain

What is your definition of RPG? If you are willing to try something new, I am a fan of Borderlands and Borderlands 2. Its a shooter game but it also has a story line, there are a bunch of different guns to choose from as well as 4 characters to chose from in both games and BL2 has 2 DLC characters if you get bored of the first 4. Might be worth checking into for you.
