ahahhahaha

1st - it's a gtx 650ti boost
2nd - the GPU is not poor, it gets the job done very well
3rd - i overclock because ... at this point, why not
4th - can you not post at all if you haven't got anything useful to say, thank you sir
5th - “Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something.Plato

my apologies for the inconvenient attitude.

let place you 650ti against my overclocked 7950 dual x rolleyes.gif 384bit bus was even thinking of crossfire because i have cpu power left

i have a 6300 rolleyes.gif

I have not encoutered any game that bottleneck me

The only one that will is bad coded or old game that do not use more than 3-4 core and even then some dual threaded game i have i play them maxed out at 60fps..

Im just sharing what i think..

It still nice to overclock it... and not normal that it throttle im trying to help even if im laughing at the 650ti i have nothing against your build blushsmiley.gif

well bro no offense though, but this thread was opened to find a solution to a problem.
not gather peoples opinions on my build.

i only play DotA 2 and BO2. and the GPU does an excellent job there.

however thanks for your opinion, yet it wasn't much appreciated in the first place but if you learn to put your words in a better way you'll do better next time biggrin.gif

we're cool though thumb.gif

Yea sorry redface.gif

And for the problem i cant understand why it do that... except a defective mobo or something..

according to asus, "CPU Power Thermal Control" can be set to a higher value if the cpu is throttling during OC. apparently because the DIGI+ engine overheats. but i've checked every chip on the board. every capacitor and resistor and ... none are heating up at all. they're all cool

i have never experienced something like this before. i have done all that i could've and still. i mean it can't be a defected mobo. the chance of that is so low.
Yeah, the chances are low but that doesnt count if it happens to you, heh.

It could be a wacky temp circuit. I would give asus a call and hope you can get through to someone knowledgeable enough to give you a definite answer as to RMA or not.

by the way should i tell them i tried to overclock !? ... i mean the highest i've gone with this is 4.5 and asus claims that this board is capable of handling a fx 9590 at 5 ghz

ok i contacted amazon and they said they'll replace the mobo. i wish i had bought the CPU off amazon as well.

could there be any issues with the CPU ?!

i dont think the cpu is defective..

I personally have a fully functional intel dp45sg mobo back in core 2 duo time that it in perfect working condition and with latest bios and still think that my e8400 is a e8500 or something he set it to 9.5 multi.. it do boot but at 9x ....

i personally dont have throttling with my 6300 even when i cinebenched at 4.8 with 6 core... and im currently at 4.5 1.42 volt.. but that is like 25% less power than your...

i have hpc enabled and no llc still dont know if i need llc with my 6300
