Single Vs Single in that case the GTX 760 will be slightly faster. However Dual Vs Dual they will probably be the same when it comes to gaming, because like I said CF scale better than SLI.

Also since you use 3D programs you must know whether the programs use OpenCL or CUDA if any. On OpenCL based programs the 7950s are better, while when CUDA is taken advantage off then the 760s are better.

Are you talking about the R9 280? If so, then they don't carry those either because of the amount of issues they ran into with the 280/280x cars. So, I'm only left with the GTX 760, AMD 270X. I doubt that they would upgrade me to a Geforce 770 or 780 for that matter. But those are the options I have. Have you guys heard of the HD 7950's being an issue? Having driver issues? Thanks.

Hey Headless Knight,

I use photoshop and 3DS max and other 3d programs. I use it primarily for work, so it's crucial that I have cards that perform, and speed is crucial too. Thanks.

Hey rdr09,

Thanks for your response. So, the issues I had were blue screens, multiple crashes. I couldn't have more than one program running. If I had photoshop running and a 3d program running and I opened up a browser, both screens would turn black and turn back on after 5-10 seconds. This would disable both programs leaving me to going into the task manager to close them. Also, had cache issues related to the driver.

The explanation that I got from them is the AMD drivers are buggy and unstable. That the GTX 760 is identical in performance to the HD 7950. He said the HD 7xxx series was replaced by the R7/R9 series. Unfortunately, they no longer carry them because of the problems they were running into.
