that what you said makes no sense at all. do you log off or just press the X button?

mstsc is the inbuilt rdp/ remote app that is in built.

also have a look at your power settings.

Power setting in high performance. It is the first thing I look at.

Also, when I launch mstsc in the command window (what I think you were referring to) actually open the Remote desktop connection window and it was what I was doing before... I not sure to understand why you are shock since it is basically what I was using, no? Is there a difference from opening the Remote Desktop connection from the run startup (write : Remote desktop connection in the run bar) and opening mstsc with the command window?

Glad to hear everything might be falling into place! Keep us updated. I'm interested to see if RDC was part of the problem.

please tell me how you logged off when you where remoted onto the machine? did you press the X button, did you log off or did you lock the machine?

when you have the RDP session closed you can not see what process's are running so your one statement is very flawed.

How about you educate us on mstsc?

What happens when you simply hit the X? Do you have to log out? Does hitting the X not log you out but only close the season?

You seem knowledgeable about this RDC how about sharing it with us?

Ok, simple, how did I now it log the computer off. Simple, I log in with TW9 and with RDP (or RDC, whatever samething). When I quit, with the "x" on top, I saw in TW9 that my session, on the computer is close (aka, I need to enter the password again to log in) but the program like the Minecraft Server and TS3 server are still on and we can still acces it to play/talk.

Edit:

Add to that, when I log in with RDP (lets call it this way), the current session log of to let me log in with the RDP session (because it look like windows allow 1 open session at time with one user)

Edit2 : Minecraft Update 1.7.7 (for the OpenSSL I guess)

That is why I believe that I'm fine with 4GB on the system, 2GB use only for MC is enough. The only thing is the DDR2 600MHz that isn't really great. Since it look like my computer would hold up for the server, I'm less considering the upgrade.

yes why you press the X button it will keep everything running on the host pc/ server.

however if you log off it will close all apps/connections.

yes you are right that when you log in again you have to do the user/pass again, this is called security.

I also take it you have never had 15 people/ friends do a 100 TNT each and blow them all up at once? the ram usage goes up big time.

as for RDP access at a single time with win7 i am not sure how many user can do it at a singe time. server is 3 users and you can buy extra licences.

Ok, so I did right, I click "X" to quit, so it didn't "close" the session but still, it log the user off. When the user isn't log in, my CPU usage go from 20-30% idle to 70-80% idle. That is the problem.

But, when I use TV9, I don't have to "Log in" the session since it is already log in. And when I quit, it doesn't log off the user, I just quit TV. And for to ram, it is kinda hard to have 15 people with 100 TNT each exploding at the same time in survival, if you see my point.

As for RDP, since it log the user off, I will stop using it and TeamViewer 9 do the job right, why have more trouble when I found a quick fix?
