My Finally Ivy sig rig
So running my i7 at the listed volts with temps UNDER 80 24/7. Will this last or am I asking for degradation.

I had ran it at stock for the past year or so but decided no need babying the chip, but I don't want to burn it out either.

Quick spec list
3770K
Corsair H90 AIO Liquid
GA-Z77X-UD3H
2x 8gb G.Skill Sniper 1866mhz

So long as it's below 1.3V and you keep it cool, you should be fine. Worst case scenario, it will last you 8 years instead of 10, but by then you will probably have upgraded anyway.

79 cel is the highest any core has ever gotten and thats during Prime 95, IBT maximum doesn't seem to break the 60's

Yes thats perfectly safe, might shave a year or 2 off the like 25 year life span.

I honestly can't tell any difference in performance at 4.5 vs stock but I don't see the purpose in not running it at max since its capable

i also using 3770k @ 4.5Ghz, i can tell the difference when gaming BF4 using 1080p/120hz monitor setup, stock 3770k doing fine but 4.5Ghz definitely gave a good push to my SLI GTX 670 @ 120fps.

will mostly see the difference in cpu-dependent games, like most console ports, and a number of newer titles.

ok 25 years might be stretching it abit, but there are plenty of PC's running from the early/mid 90's those are approaching on 20 years old now.
