ibuypower battalion 101 P151EM1

Hello.

I didn't know where to post this issue, this form has so many sections and sub sections.

I have a ibuypower battalion 101 P151EM1 ( gaming laptop ).

I need a new mother board. The price the computer repair show is asking for is outrageous.

Can someone please tell me the mole number or serial number of the motherboard so I can buy it elsewhere and replace it myself?

Thank you for your time.

Im pretty sure they're using a proprietary mobo. (their own design)

Im guessing Ebay would be your best, or only bet

the p151em1 is a clevo barebone assembled and branded by ibuypower, any p151em1 motherboard would work I would think. Just need to make sure you're getting the right one.

Here is one on ebay, but I think this is the motherboard for the step up model. still the IO port locations could be the same. I would verify first. Have you tried contacting ibuypower or another reseller like xoticpc, to see if they would sell you a board? They must have spares of some of that to handle the extended warranties they offer.

Do you have any link or evidence that would suggest this? I've seen other Clevo re-sellers make custom BIOS mods (Or just buy them from Prema) but I've never heard of them using different motherboards.
