I think it will be fine. It's no Superflower, but it's not a dud either.

Same here, I think the PSU is alright from what I could find about it.

Had this same PSU since Nov 2011. And my Antec Kuhler H950 is not enough to keep a 9370 cool at stock speeds?

Sure it is, unless you mess up mounting it. But it will be 4 - 6 C higher at load than a H100i.

Overclocking the 9370 to its full potential is another matter though.

I don't really care how much the CPU cost the extra 30 bucks for the 9370 versus the 8350 is not a big deal. I just want more longevity for my motherboard. The 8320 looks like poop to me. Its clocked lower then my current CPU. Not to mention I never said I will over clock the CPU.

Looks like someone hasn't done the homework rolleyes.gif Read up on the Vishera cpu's. Even if you say that the FX 8320 is clocked lower than your Phenom II x4 980, it will still give it a trashing. Not to mention the Phenom II x4 doesn't have the latest instructions which makes it lose out on performance in games. Hell, my FX 6300 will give your Phenom IIx 4 a trashing!

OK you guys win. I'll get the 8350 instead. Amazon has them at a good price too. Let's say for some crazy reason I decide to overclock the 8350 to emulate the 9370. Will the TDP be higher, lower or the same?

Should be the same. It actually depends upon the amount of vcore you use.

crikey the FX 9370 isn't like giving a limb away nor is the 9590 considering you are guaranteed the OC - go for it and don't worry, the difference will be night and day.

Don't mean to be rude to anyone but all this get a bla bla and OC the hell out it is as we know is a lottery and to some may even cause premature death to their beloved chip.

Mate stick to your Gpu OC and feel relived that a higher purpose built Mhz cpu is there ready for the taking OC is not for everybody thumb.gif

8350 vs 9370 = £26 - not worth the worry, rather spend £26 more

That is true I don't want to kill my CPU with a bad overclock. I suck at over clocking too my 980 will cause a BSOD at 4.0ghz. I would rather get a CPU with a high stock speed and leaving it that way. But every one other then you is telling me to get the 8350. My CPU cooler should be able to handle the 9370 at stock speeds.
