  • Thermalright TY-147 (140mm with 120mm mount)
  • Be Quiet Silent Wings 2 (120mm and 140mm variants, expensive but worth it)
  • Noctua NF-P12 (120mm, great fans)
  • Noctua NF-A14 (140mm, best 140mm fans IMO)
  • Phanteks PH-F140HP/TS (140mm with 120mm mount again)

Some cheaper options, all amazing value:
  • Arctic F12 and F14 (120mm/140mm)
  • Gelid Silent 12 and 14 (120mm/140mm)
What I was going to do was buy GT AP-14s for my rad, and then either Silverstone AP121 or GELID wings for my intake and exhaust, kind leaning more toward the AP121s though

Get the cheaper out of the Silverstone and the Gelid fans, the air perpetrator thing is just marketing. Either will do the same job, there is not much difference between the two.

Companies are no longer receiving stock on the Scythe Gentle Typhoon fans of any model. The 2 companies involved in them being in the US have split ways and are no longer offering them.

Scythe is replacing them with their Grand Flex fan line so be prepared to spend and arm and a leg if you go with any of the Gentle Typhoons as companies are way overpricing them now.

That doesn't make my statement false. That is all the stock they are going to get so when its gone its gone. I am pretty sure on their front page they had a post regarding no more stock of GT fans coming in.

they did, but i wouldn't say they are overpriced, or jacked up... not trying to start an argument, just stating

I have seen them on some sites starting at anywhere from $30.00 on up. Some retailers won't do that but there are those that will and gotta warn people about the possibility.

The effect works, you may have seen the YouTube video on it with a smoke machine. Its just that in a PC it doesn't really make much difference if any, I think it would actually reduce airflow but I don't have the tools to prove that.

Aesthetically the Corsair Fans are some of the best looking out there, and with the ability to paint the colored rings they offer end uses a wide variety of color schemes to go with. The Quiet Edition PWM variants are quite good fans and are what I use on both of my water cooled rigs. While they may not be the best they are decently priced and perform well. In the end it is you choice all we can give is our preferences.
