Ruined my GTX 780 ti settings and can't get them back-NOOB

Thread Starter
I had a computer built in January for gaming,
and everything worked great until I played around with the Nvidia toolbar settings yesterday.

Now for some reason I get a long, horizontal pixelated streak going across my monitor when I play games and I can't get rid of it.
To make sure it wasn't my monitor I hooked up my pc to an HDTV as well as a 2nd monitor. Problem remains.
I restored all Nvidia settings to their original format. I was sure this would solve it. Problem still persists.

If anyone could help I would be greatly appreciated. I have no idea what else I could possibly do I feel i'm at
a total loss I really don't wan't to have to bring my pc in to get this problem fixed.

Please help.

Thank you,

J.S

From what you describe, it sounds like the graphics card has become faulty. I guess you could try reinstalling the drivers for the graphics card in the hopes of it being a software issue.
Try these drivers right here:
http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/73780/en-us

Just uninstall your current drivers and install the drivers provided in the link.
If you need help doing this, let me know.

You could try reinstalling the driver and select custom. Then check the perform clean installation box.

Have you tried a different cable? It seems unlikely but maybe the cable is bad. I know it would be very coincidental.

Thank you for the link.

I downloaded the driver and things look MUCH better. The driver recognized Tomb Raider and Crysis 3. They were optimized and both looked great and the pixels were gone.

But I have 18 other games that Nvidia is not recognizing and wont optimize. Is there any way around this? I did not see a browse button to try and import games.

These games now only have a slight to moderate level of of pixelation after downloading driver, but this time yesterday every game worked and looked great.

So overall a lot better but the problem remains.

Is there anything else you guys think I could do to fix this? I'm almost certain it's not a hardware issue.

Thanks again for your response.

Just set the game settings manually.
