Needs a built-in benchmark that plays the "You Died" animation if your framerate dips below 30fps. :D

That's too bad that other developers have given us a standard. It's 2014. If devs can give us multitude of options in terms of graphics, mods etc, there is no reason why From Software can't offer it too.

Complains about lack of settings in DkS 1 and then complains about the settings that they have implemented in the sequel. Then people wonder why "PC master race" is just a delusion.

Getting annoyed with the trend of just "On" and "Off" AA settings.

Most often these games have an FXAA blur filter or no AA at all, and you can't easily force any other form of AA.

I have to agree. FXAA is a poor substitute for proper render based AA and seeing as pretty much all graphics engines should as an minimum be able to run SSAA its very sad to see so many games with only thees on/off hidden AA (usually poor quality). IMO FXAA should be used more ans an auxiliary form of AA and be run side by side with real AA for optimal results. Something like 4-8xMSAA + light FXAA or 2xSSAA + FXAA give very nice results.

That said I can recall running into an 3D game where I wasn't able to somehow force better AA. If not form the nvidia control panel then using nvidia inspector or at the very least using the down sample trick.

Indeed... they need to stop acting like they're actually paying for the product!
