Last day for evga step-up is it worth it?

Thread Starter
I have a GTX 760 right now and today is my last day to step up. I would step up to the EVGA 780 ACX model.
But is it worth it?
499.99 + 43 shipping $542.99 + $45 for me to ship (Canada) total $587.
So $587 - 249.99 (price of GTX 760) = $338.

Obviously I paid more than $249.99 I had to pay for tax and shipping as well. But dishing out $338 seems kinda much. I could buy another 760 for less and SLI them. But then there is the hassle of SLI.

So is it worth paying an extra $100 to not have to SLI?

Considering you have the PSU for it, I don't see why you don't just go SLI. It'll net more performance and I really don't ever have an issue with SLI. If worse comes to worse, just go to a single card for that game until it is properly patched.
