Updating drivers for old low end GPU's

I have a GT 540m which is still Fermi architecture, Nvidia's beta driver - the so called 'wonder driver' is out, will I feel its effects on games like Dota 2. The driver only shows improved performance for games I don't play and 700 series desktop gpu's. Now will it really make a difference if I updated it now?

Update new driver doesn't improve much..

Yea. I've noticed from the previous driver updates, but anyone on the internet would say update to the latest driver whenever there is an issue. Now learn that that isn't always the case

On my GTX 560M I have noticed almost not increase. Sometimes even decrease. My 680 is also having trouble with the new beta. We will see how it goes.

Thanks for the feedback, I tried the driver out for myself but I've only played dota 2 on it. Performance has improved a bit but the texture and the rendering of the effects look glitched out for some reason.
