Would ARCTIC Accelero Hybrid II-120 prevent me from using PCIe 1.0 for my ASUS Xonar DGX 5.1?

Here is the motherboard layout

Here is the cooler with the large heatsink that goes on top of the videocard and the actual pump - http://www.nikktech.com/main/articles/pc-hardware/gpu-coolers/3298-arctic-accelero-hybrid-ii-120-air-liquid-cooler-review?showall=&start=4

I assume that this cooling contraption would block access to the PCIe 1.0 on top of the videocard with its huge heatsink, but also below the videocard with its pump, correct? I have ASUS Xonar DGX and it appears I would have to sacrifice it if I am to use this cooler, right????????

Also, wouldn't the backplate passive heatink be worse than proper VRM and RAM heatsink?

Are there ANY similar alternatives?

It will not fit in either of the 1x PCI-e slots.

Just use the white PCI-e slot, then you don't need to worry about getting it in.
