EVGA 780Ti Classified HydroCopper owners - How much of an OC are you able to get on your card?

After buying this card, I was really looking forward to squeezing every last drop of performance out of it.
Unluckily for me, it seems I might have received the mother of bad OC'ers.
+100 Core Clock Offset
+30 Mem Clock Offset

That's with the Mv's bumped up to +75 (max in precision)

For some reason, my memory clock absolutely hates been touched while the Core clock is OC'ed, causing driver crashes with anything higher than +30. sadsmiley.gif

Is the poor overclocking an issue with these cards?

did you play with the bios at all? my standard 780 classified hydro is an overclocking beast with skys bios on it.

I've tried Skyn3ts BIOS, but honestly didn't get much more out of it.

I also used the classified voltage controller on my LN2 Default Bios, knocked it up to 1.32V's and that seemed to let me add an extra +50, but then it bluescreened "windows service exception" every time I booted until I flicked the BIOS switch, which seems to have sorted it out.

You mind if I ask what your default clocks are, and what offsets you're using on your 780?

the defaults on the 780 are: gpu core 1111 mhz / mem 1502 mhz. the current oc I have on it for every day use is: gpu core 1351mhz / mem 1852mhz. i can push it a bit further for benchmark runs, but so far all my games play flawlessly at the above settings.

Nice OC! thumb.gif

Hmmm, it looks as though I may have lost the silicon lottery then.

What's really frustrating me is the fact I can barely touch the Mem clock...

Also, when you use benchmarking software, does it show your clock running higher than it actually is?
When I bench on Valley, it says my Core is at 1446MHz, when on GPU-Z it reports my card at Core-1120/boost1185 (default 1020/boost1085).

valley does show a bit higher on the clock. i lucked out with this card. if i take my mem t an offset of 300mhz or more it will crash no matter what voltage i set it at. sweet spot for voltage on mine seems to be 1.3125v
