M5A99FX r 2.0 Pro causing slow mo gameplay after sleeping

Thread Starter
Hi. I bought this motherboard a few months ago and I'm having a problem with sleeping/hibernation. I don't like to turn everything off, I prefer to have it ready when I get home. I'll put my everything to sleep and when it wakes up games will run in slow motion. I could record it to give you and example but imagine League of Legends fora moment.

My character runs really slow, abilities move slow, the recall bar is two seconds off, but everyone else moves normally. Happens in WoW too, and my FPS is affected. What can I do to be able to use this basic feature without these problems?

Specs:
Mobo: M5A99FX r 2.0 Pro
GPU: EVGA GTX 770 4GB
PSU: Rosewill 1,000 watt
CPU: AMD FX-8120 (4.6 GHz)

I use hibernation instead of sleep. I also have the sleep button in Win8.1 pro set to hibernate. I dont have any problems.

Do you have any hard drives that automatically spin down, by any chance ?
