[Tech Report] Retail-boxed A8-7600 APUs delayed until second half of 2014 - Page 2

I'm glad I got the 7850K last month. I was tired of wating for this, but wanted kavery for a picoPSU rig silent rig. When I saw it was configurable with cTDP 45W I pulled the trigger. The money different is worth for having the rig so much earlier.

They did send 7600s to most sites as far as I remember.

Always wary when AMD do this, Bulldozer springs immediately to mind

I don't think Bulldozer would be a good point of reference here. The difference here is that AMD actually sent A8-7600's to tons of sites, and the overall reception was fairly warm. The problem is that the A8 is the one Kaveri SKU that most people are/were interested in, yet it's not available, and now has been delayed.

AS NaroonGTX pointed out it has to be disappointing as it was generally well received. Maybe AMD has too many things going on at once?
