Don't know what I just did but I just finished benchmarking with Heaven 4.0 on ultra and my score finally resembles what others are showing!!!!!!!(2132 at 84.6FPS)
I disabled SLI in the nvidia control panel and ran Heaven just to see if my single 770 would resemble other scores I've seen. It didnt like that because in the upper right hand corner it was still recognizing the second card and showing something like 300MHz. I guess you have to physically remove the second card to get true single card stats??? Anyways, it froze up on me and I restarted my computer. While restarting, Windows 8.1 did it's update thing and at the time I didn't think anything of it. After everything booted, I engaged SLI again in the nvidia control panel, clocked my GPU's and ran Heaven and I got my score of 2132!
If you look at this smaller pic, before when I was getting a score of only 1512 and 60FPS, the top card was the one that was always hotter. Now it's the lower card that is warmer. Don't know if this means anything but I'm happy!
