[Sony] The Last of Us Remastered leaked on Playstation Store - Page 3

I don't see why they wouldn't. It was at least over a year ago when ND grabbed people throughout the company to start on UC for PS4. I'd imagine if the engineers could pin down the asset structure they wanted to use in their ps4 engine, the TLoU dev team could either start converting the assets, create separate assets alongside or create ps3 assets with the ps4 in mind. At least that is what I would do, if I were looking to bridge the gap between hardware generations.

I'm not under any illusion of it being ZOMG!!!! Amazing looking. But at least a step or two better than the ps3 release. Like Shadow of the Colossus was noticeably better on the ps3 vs ps2 but not quite as "good" as a pure ps3 game.

That may be so, but IMO, they're much better games over all. If you really break it down, all games have barriers at some point, no? But then, if you look closely, most of the games I really like are sandboxes, in general or simulations, with a few exceptions. TLoU just didn't do it for me, that's all. I just couldn't get into. I really wanted to; like I said, I tried three times to get into it. (about 3 hours in) and just couldn't. Killing a guy with a gun, who doesn't drop one, just annoyed me. knee high barriers, I can't cross? Really annoyed me. I just didn't like it. But hey, like I said originally, I'm probably the only one. Everyone seems to love this game. I didn't.

So like I said, 'ah, salute', enjoy.

You nitpick too much dude. Do you REALLY want to nitpick with TLOU?

Up for PreOrder on Amazon.

I bought the game on PS3, but never had a chance to even open it. I'd rather play it on PS4, so I put my preorder in.

I am planning on getting a PS4 to sit next to my Xbox One next month. This will be on the To Do list.

I had won a ps3 last of us bundle at my Christmas party but sold it, because I already had an X1.

From the Amazon preorder page:

"Winner of over 200 Game of the Year awards, The Last of Us has been rebuilt for the PlayStation 4 system. Now featuring full 1080p, higher resolution character models, improved shadows and lighting, in addition to several other gameplay improvements."

EDIT: This same description is also found on the official ps blog: http://blog.us.playstation.com/2014/04/09/the-last-of-us-remastered-coming-to-ps4-summer-2014/

It look fine to me one ps3, i'd rather have all the team focus on developing new IP than optimizing something that looks already fine.

I feel like gaming nowadays are just a continuation of the previous sequel except shinier. No more risk taking and developing new idea and game-play, like in the ps1/ps2 time.

I just made the decision to purchase an Xbox One on Monday night from Target since it was $449 for the TF bundle and 1 year of XBL, this could of been a game changer for me.

I've had my XB one for about 3 weeks now. I am actually quite disappointed. The system is laggy and missing a lot of features that were on the 360. I still like the controller way better than PS4 and think with updates and the amazing possibilities of Kinect the XB one will be better in the long run. As of right now, I think the PS4 is better, just missing Titanfall which to me is the closest thing to a killer app right now.
