I need new games, RPG FPS RTS

Thread Starter
So, I just did another 4 day Mass effect show down, 1-3 on insanity (Damn that was a pain, Specially on 3 where it is literally MANY BANSHEES HANDLE IT), I was playing dragonage 1 before that, aswell as binged out on Sc1 and sc2 both completed on the same day.

As it stands i need something new to play and abuse, I like RPG's I like RTS, And i like FPS but within reason, I will not touch CoD or any "Fps multiplayer game that has levels" ie, If you shoot someone point blank in the face with a shottie they should be dead, they shouldn't live because they spent 40000 more hours playing the game than you did RE:COD

I'm looking for games with stories like Mass effects, Decisions, Lots of content, Many things to explore and the like, I do not have a console obviously hence the PC gaming thread, And preferably something in interest any suggestions?

And no not skyrim.

Take a look at Anno 2070, I warn you this game distorts time.

Civ 5.

Dungeon Keeper 2, old but still fun.

Borderlands 1 or 2, RPS with a little RPG in it. This game can be a little grindy and on the harder settings the enemies are bullet sponges

Or you can play Turok 1 or 2 and remind your self that old game are not always better.

Well you think you have played Anno for an hour or 2, its really been 6 hours. Deus Ex: Human Revolution did this to me as well.

Dragon Age has storytelling like Mass Effect, the first one is the best example of dynamic storytelling in video game history. Definitely go for those. Also check out the KOTOR series and Neverwinter Nights series, which again are the same type of RPGs (though not quite as much story focus).

Fallout: New Vegas is one of the best RPGs in recent times, the story incorporates player choice well and it has excellent writing plus well over 300 hours of content. Be sure to use these mods for it before initially playing, in order to maximize your first experience with the game. Another game I recommend is Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut, which is a highly detailed and immersive RPG that has very good stealth mechanics, and good FPS mechanics too. These games are all leagues above almost everything else out there.

For FPS, go for Underhell which is free (though it's much more than just FPS, also incorporating psychological horror and survival horror very well), and also the Metro series. They're story driven, have impeccable detail in terms of level design and gameplay unlike most other shooters, and they have more gameplay variety than most other shooters.

Turok 1 > most modern FPS

Turok 2 > most modern FPS

Each of them > HL1 as well. Flame suit on.
