I have two monitors. U2713HM which I game on, and U2713H which I edit photos on (connected to both the main computer via DVI and to the rMBP 15 via DP for editing).

I can get a good deal on the UP3214Q. Which means I will have to sell both monitors and add some to purchase the 4K goodness.

On the one side, I just replaced my U2711 which had a bright red pixel with a brand new U2713H (dell replaced if free or charge, so nice of them biggrin.gif). Its such an amazing monitor (I planned to sell the U2711, but I just got a new U2713H so...).
Also I'm not sure my triple gtx 680s will still be up to par with 4K gaming.
Also I will have to switch between computers on the screen, while atm each computer shows on its own monitor (when I game the rMBP shows on the U2713H).
There are also several monitors coming soon like the UD970 which is also designed for editing (the cheaper ones are out of the question atm).

On the other hand, 4K monitor with great colours. The rMBP will only show 30mhz until the OSX updates in a month or so, but I can live with that.
Also, 4K monitor. I have seen live. It looks absolutely amazing.

So, keep the two 27" or replace them with the 4K, or wait for next 4K monitors and in the mean time consider replacing the GPUs?
