Having issues with low GPU usage on your GTX 780 while playing Battlefield 4? I might have a real solution.

I know a lot of people have been suffering through this as I have. You're playing BF4 but your frame rates are stupidly low, then you check afterburner and see your GPU usage hovering between 50%-70%, then you proceed to try everything, every possible fix to get the stupid game you love, from the company you hate, to freaking run, but it won't. I know your pain, I have been suffering through it for about two months now, but I found a solution, and it's so stupid it's not even funny. Reinstall your BIOS in the most careful method you can. That's all it took for me. Most of us who own a high end GPU have a high-end motherboard, and high-end motherboards allow you to install your BIOS from your OS, this is a bad thing. When you install your BIOS from your OS, it can severely screw things up, but most of us have gotten too lazy to throw our BIOS onto a flash drive, boot from it, and install, but that's all it took to fix my issues. I have an Asus Rampage IV Extreme and I think I have seen a few other people on here with the same board and same issues and I hope for their sake that this stupid solution works for them. I know a few of you guys are probably shaking your heads thinking "You idiot, ofcourse you shouldn't install your BIOS from windows" or "The first thing you should do is reinstall your BIOS", well, I tried reinstalling my BIOS several times but never from a flash drive, lesson learned. Anyway, I'm already wondering how I wrote so much about so little... so I'm going to stop now. Let know if this helps biggrin.gif
