Alright, thoughts after a week of playing:
--Link became my new main. Much fast. Very power. Wow.
--The game actually is destroying my circle pad. I thought people were going too hard and wrecking it. I'm going easy and it's starting to come apart.
--Little Mac/1v1/Omega Mode is the new Fox Only/No Items/Final Destination.
--...not sure if I like Smash Run. The stages where it's a race are just flat out bull****, rewarding speedy characters and punishing slower or less jumpy players (read: Link players
).
--Unlocking everybody and all stages was a real treat and played out at just the right difficulty to be rewarding without being awful.
--Clones. Thank you based Sakurai. (I do feel bad because he admitted he tried to avoid clonage but Dark Pit, man. Dark Pit.)
--Duck Hunt Doge
--5 FPS and stutter and not being able to quit or self-KO your online game because you're being ranked? *** Nintendo.
--Admittedly, when you do play someone with a stable connection, Online can be a lot of fun, and either Nintendo improved the AI for dropped players significantly, or I have yet to find one.
--Lv. 9 is actually a lot better for AI level, but you can still crush it if you know what you're doing.
--Lv. 9 for Classic Mode will crush your soul and rob you blind.
--Why did they require money to play on higher difficulty in Classic? Or any difficulty except 2.0? So stupid.
--Trophieeeeeees
--I reeeally like the Miis. Everyone I know is now a character in my game...I really wish it were easier to make the Miis competitive though. Good parts are hard to come by. Costumes are also taking a while to unlock them all.
--Trophy ruuuuuush
--While I get the gist the game favors fast folks like Zero Suit, Mac and Sheik, I don't feel they're as OP as they used to be. Also WOW did Meta Knight get nerfed.
--I miss choosing what music I can use in stages.
--I don't think I ever laughed so hard after a really good, furious setup in Home Run Contest only to smack the sandbag in the wrong direction.
--Final boss? Epiiiiiic.
--48 characters, 3 classes of Mii, 34 stages, and loads of ways to have fun? You did good, Nintendo. Worth every penny.
